Stelvio Bike Day
48 breath-taking switchbacks and 1,869 height meters by road bike...
This all happens on 31 August 2019, when the legendary road to Passo Stelvio is closed to motorized traffic.
The road belongs to cyclists only! It’s not a race, but being there is everything! The highlight of the cycling tour is the Passo Stelvio with its 2,760 meters above sea level, one of the highest passes of the Alps open to traffic. With the descent along the Umbrail Pass (2,503 metres), also free of traffic, you will reach Santa Maria in the Münster valley (Switzerland) and then Glurns in South Tyrol. This makes it a truly beautiful circular tour.
See you on 31 August 2019!
